ABOUT US
Purple Angels was founded in 2017 with the purpose of empowering girls through faith and mentorship. Purple Angels focus on three principles faith, empowerment, and mentorship. We can assist in a variety of ways like setting life goals, self-awareness, explore talents, and resources.
Faith is an essential part of our organization because it builds trust and confidence in the source of our identity. Faith teaches girls to continually believe in their desired future until it becomes a reality. Faith allows girls to overcome fear when they understand their identity and potential.
We focus intensely on empowerment because Purple Angel's believe it's important to increase self-awareness. Increasing girl’s self-esteem, self-worth, and self-determination help girls to be open-minded, adventurous, and confidence. We affirm to the girls that they have a powerful voice and they can make a change in the world. We validate their worthiness because girls are more precious than rubies. Empowerment allows girls to live limitlessly and dream big.
Mentorship is an important component of the Purple Angels because it fosters the importance of giving back. Mentors can help target individual needs, so no girl goes unanswered. Mentors volunteer there appreciated time to listen and provide support to our thriving girls. Mentors have active listening skills and can validate and nurture girls’ feelings. Mentorship makes a positive impact on the outcome of youth.

OUR MISSION
Purple Angels use a foundation of faith to mentor and empower young girls to soar in life. Using biblical principles, our angels use this faith to walk in their true identity. These future leaders will be equipped with the necessary tools to demonstrate integrity, confidence, and strong leadership skills. Purple Angels create a support system and provide resources that help our girls achieve their dreams.
We incorporate community service and mentorship to promote partnership and team building. We want every girl to feel validated and empowered to go after their dreams. We want girls to gain the practical skills needed to deal with challenges. Purple Angels create a support system and provide resources to help girls reach their highest potential regardless of circumstances. Every girl deserves to be spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially healthy.

OUR CURRICULUM
Art
We incorporate arts and crafts into our sessions to keep the girls engaged and facilitate their creative skills. We do a variety of activities involving making things with their own hands. Kids love art and craft because it allows them to express themselves. Participating in arts can improve youths sense of directions, focus and concentration, fine motor skills, and patience. The girls can participate in self-portraits, homemade slim, self-esteem pizzas, friendship flowers, planting, and tie dye shirts. .
Community Service and Leadership
It is essential as a Purple Angel to give back to the community and demonstrate leadership. We have participated in donating Christmas shoe boxes, decorated in front of Lockhart Elementary School with new plants, created get well cards, and served at senior dinners. Girls learn team building skills when paired with others to complete a task. Volunteering can provide a healthy boost girls self-confidence, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. Purple Angels take pride in doing good for others and the community, which provides a sense of accomplishment. Demonstrating leadership is an important skill to have, and it gives a sense of confidence, creativity, responsibility, and self-identity.
Health and wellness
Physical activities are essential for a healthy lifestyle and the development of the mind, body, and spirit. We incorporate health-related activities for the girls. We exercise, meditate, play sports, learning about healthy food choices, participate in nature walks, and meditation. Girls that experience good physical and mental health are more likely to succeed in school, avoid high-risk behavior and reach their goals.
Mentorship and Life Skills
Mentorship increases social skills among girls. Mentorship promotes guidance, motivation, emotional support, and a positive role model connection. Mentors positively impact youth's development and reduce negative emotions. Girls experience an increase in social acceptance, academic attitude, and grades. Purple Angels girls benefit from shared knowledge, life experiences, and life skills training. Life skills are essential in learning independence and help girls with being more knowledgeable about going into adulthood. The girls learn about saving and budgeting, cultural diversity, career option, hygiene, chores, cooking, time management, and communication skills.
